Dell wireless 1707 802.11bgn driver download

I have recently changed laptops. The change has been great to say the least, but the one problem that I am having is the wireless card.

Occasionally it is unable to keep a connection or just sometimes just slows down I have resorted to just use my ethernet cable as it is a ton faster than using wireless. I have done a lot of looking into what the cause of the problem would be and a really hope it isn't a hardware problem that needs to be sent in and have tried just about all the possible solutions from the power settings, updating the driver, to adjusting transmit and receive buffers and have not really had any positive results.

Any help would be great, thank you! And to put an additional perspective on the difference I have taken two screenshots of the download speeds via speedtest. I recently bought Dell Inspiron 17 Dell Wireless On my old laptop toshiba i had great speed but n Dell i could barely open new tab it would take min to open it or it wouldnt open it all.

I just thought I would post an update of the issue. It appears that after an upgrade to Windows 10 my download speed has increased significantly. Although it is not to the full potential of what my Gateway could handle but well enough for me to bear with it. I was just cruising by and saw these posts about the seriously slow connectivity you all are experiencing. I was having the same problems with my Inspiron 11 laptop, and was so frustrated with itit was about to go out the window.

If I could make a suggestion, it would be to definitely upgrade some of your components. Especially the network adapter wifi card. The stock adapter is ridiculously slow. This allows for mbps speeds. Thank You! Free Analysis. Check Ping.
